Singing is inseparable from the lives of the Chubean people. The people are very musical. Instead of the usual four part harmony in the traditional choir, the Bunun choir consists of 8 parts. Their songs often represent their everyday life. For example:

- Song for safety return (den ga bu)
- Song for dialogues (no in dina honko)
- Song for gun praying before hunting (pislahe)
- Song for celebrations of victory (malastapan)
